Ways to Prepare for Your Vinyl-lined Pools Inspection
Increasingly more homeowners decide to install a swimming pool at their house and experience a relaxing time in the summertime. Having a pool permits people to escape, if only for a short time, the feared summer heat, helping elders keep their children closer to home.
Vinyl-lined pools can last for many years if maintained properly, and you can handle the upkeep yourself. Cleaning the pool, for example, is one of the tasks that any home-owner can achieve with 1 or 2 tools purchased from a home center or a store.
Before you schedule your regular vinyl-lined pools inspection, do your best to wash the pool completely and see whether there are any issues you can work out yourself. Turn on the pool pump, and allow the pump to turn on and run water for about 3 minutes.
Attach an extendable handle to a leaf skimmer and use it t pick up any leaves or debris identifiable in the pool. The leaf skimmer is meant to permit you to pick leaves or waste that are floating or are sunk in the pool.
Next, attach the extendable handle to the pool wall brush and use it to wipe the sides of the pool in order to remove dirt or debris. Watch out not to use too much stress on the brush.
Employing a tile brush, remove any debris or hard water scale from the tiles on the sides of the pool. Again, be cautious not to apply too much stress on this brush, otherwise it could cause the grout between tiles to displace.
Once you are done with the brush, attach the extendable handle to the pool vacuum head and sink the vacuum hose in the pool, permitting it to fill with water. Attach one end of the hose to the vacuum head and the other end to the vacuum receptacle in the skimmer. Using the vacuum, extract any tiny pieces of dust and debris that were deposed while brushing the wall.
To complete off, turn off the pool pump and dump all waste in the rubbish. Your pool is now correctly maintained and you can like it for a longer time period. Do this on a constant basis.
